Day Three - Healthy Eating Week
"Have 5 a day"
The challenge is to eat at least 5 pieces of fruit and veg a day.
We will be offering a selection of fruits as pupils arrive to school in the morning supplied by Aldi's Carluke.
Many thanks to Aldi's for their support.
We are also having the Staff Big Baked Potato lunch today with some very tasty, yet healthy, fillings.
In Home Economics pupils have also been creating their food diaries to calculate how many calories they have consumed in one day, then in Maths they will calculate how much exercise will be required to burn off their total calorie intake for the day. This information will then be passed to PE where pupils will carry out the amount of exercise calculated in Maths.
