Anti-Bullying Week 15th-19th November 2021
This week is anti-bullying week and the theme this year is ‘one kind word’.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been.
The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us. This year, let’s remind ourselves of the power of kindness, and how it can halt hurtful behaviour in its tracks.
We are asking pupils and staff to get involved in the five days of kindness challenge.
This is a really simple challenge, commit to one act of kindness every day this week!
The challenge aims to start a chain reaction of kind words and kind acts that can share message of hope and positivity.
By spreading kindness, we champion how kindness can halt hurtful behaviour in its tracks. Keep an eye on the Pupil Support Twitter page next week to see what acts of kindness the Pupil Support team are carrying out!
Need some inspiration?

• Start a conversation with someone new
• Tell someone they are doing a good job
• Hold a door open

• Give someone a compliment
Remember to share your act of kindness with your Pupil Support teacher or share your act of kindness on Twitter and tag @CarlukeHS or @_respectme_
