We have gathered together resources we think will help parents/carers familiarise themselves with the tools being used to deliver and support remote learning to our young people.

Celebrating Success

Lucy McShane 3B2

At the weekend Lucy McShane 3B2 participated in a sponsored walk around Strathclyde Park and helped raise £3,700 for the Les Hoey Dream Maker Foundation.
This charity does a lot of fantastic work supporting children undergoing cancer treatment and they are currently providing a lot of support to a local family.
I think we can all agree that Lucy has truly embraced the school value of kindness and she has been presented with a school values badge for Kindness.

Mirin Scott 2L1

Last year, Mirin Scott 2L1 won a prize for her outstanding art work she created to raise awareness of how the bees are becoming endangered.
This art work is now being brought forward for Nicola Sturgeon to view at COP 26 this week!

I’m sure you will join me in congratulating Mirin in this amazing success with her fabulous piece of work!

Well done Mirin!

Miss Rose (Acting PT Lee)

Mark Findlay 3D and Carina Yule 3M

A group of S3 pupils are competing in the school heat of the Springboard Future Chef Competition.
The pupils have been working hard over the last month to develop and perfect their own recipe for the competition.
Two winners will go to the regional final where they will compete against other schools across South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire, and Glasgow at the City of Glasgow College under the guidance of Master Chef winner Gary Maclean.

Our two winners are Mark Findlay 3D and Carina Yule 3M.
