We have gathered together resources we think will help parents/carers familiarise themselves with the tools being used to deliver and support remote learning to our young people.

Carluke High are celebrating Dyslexia Awareness Week 10th-14th December 2018.

Our new Dyslexia Ambassadors, Erin Pringle, Erin Howitt, Callan Duncan, Aaron Melrose and Rory Paterson will all be actively involved as we raise awareness of Dyslexia through our ‘Raising Awareness of Dyslexia’ Assemblies.

Throughout the week we will hear about successful people with dyslexia, there will be drop in sessions in the library at lunchtimes where pupils can share ideas about strategies they use to help them learn, Dyslexia blue ribbons will be on sale to pupils and staff for a donation and on Friday 10th December our Ambassadors will host a staff coffee morning.

Miss Marshall’s 1st year Wider Achievement pupils have been busy baking, Lucy Miller and Jessica MacMillan created our tickets and posters, thank you and well done to all of you! All funds raised during the week will help purchase additional resources for Dyslexia.

Dispelling the Dyslexia Myths! Look out on Twitter throughout the week for some quotes and facts about Dyslexia.
